Nimra Ahmed Vs Umera Ahmed - Literary comparison

When Nimra Ahmed's first publication appeared in Khwateen Digest, readers were very interested in learning more about her relationship with Umera Ahmad. Because a reader in the following month's edition inquired:

                                                              "Are they sisters?"

As you can see, the names of both authors end in Ahmed. however, they weren't. However, as the younger author published more of her works, she began to resemble the more experienced author in terms of her views, emphasising Islam throughout the narrative and setting it in other lands while making it seem familiar.

Similarities:

There are some traits that Umera and Nimra share.

Both authoress' first novels were warmly received.

Both have a respectable reputation in Urdu literature.

Both have great research about their writings.

Both have strong connectivity with their audience.

Both show the necessity of courage in a woman's life.

Both have a passion for learning about and experimenting with new concepts.

But these similarities does not make either of them a replacement of other. Why? Their fans know very well. One apparent reason is that there are only a few quality Urdu women writer.

Differences:

There are bigger reasons also to have both in one's to-read list. The reason is difference in emotion both focus on.

Umera  Ahmed lives in reality. She sketches a life which is fairly close to reality. She is practical and does not support characters that are sentimental and emotional. For example in her latest novel she shows the innocent and childish character of Shehr Bano in losing position just because she had heart that ached but not a brain that thought.

Umera ahmed starts her novel story very slowly like a curve, stay there for a while and then she takes her novel story to the climax .

Her books feature a mixture of strong and weak people. She always includes a character in her book who is directly opposite of whatever feeling or attribute she bases a character on.

Umera tend to show her readers the difficulties, which are irrelevant to lives of most of them. In this way Umera paints her story a little grayer in her writtings.

Umera ahmed only describes her novelist hero and heroen personalities in detail while the others characters in her novel are not described in detail

Nimra lives in fairy talesHer entire universe is built on love and dominance.  She, too, does not support emotions and sentimentality, but this she does with by not eliminating weak people from her character list, not by showing them and their distressed life.

Nimra ahmed starts her novel story very strongly like ninety angle and stay there and then goes to the climax.

Nimra's characters are not mirror images. They don't have exactly opposite features rather they have personality traits which are same. This is apparent in her story "Sans Sakin Thi" when both hero and heroine avengers by nature, or in "Jannat Kay Pattay" where both are fast reactors.

Nimra shows luxuries, which most of them do not possess.  In this way Nimra ahmed paints her story a little Greener.

Nimra ahmed describes all her novelist characters in detail I mean their personalities, their background, their nature, their physical appearances and every little thing about all novelist characters

In my opinion one is optimistic and other pessimistic. So whose style you prefer? Nimra Ahmed and Umera Ahmed.
