Brief description:

                       Nimra Ahmed's novel Paras is a short suspense/thriller novel published immediately after "Jannat Ke Patte." It is a short novel compared to Namal or JKP, with only 208 pages and was first published in August 2014. She stated in her ptolegomenon that it took her nearly 6 years to complete because she wanted to write it perfectly, and that it is a light piece of fiction that should not be compared to her other works. It revolves primarily around a murduer.

          The novel has eight main characters, with Paras and Faizan taking the lead. Paras lives with her stepmother and stepfather. Rizwan is an elderly man with a sister (Saweera) and brother (Faizan) as well as his trusted man Mr. Tanveer. He adores his brothers and sisters. This story revolves around the idea of how selfish people can be for their own benefit; in this story, you will see how the main character will tear off the mask of fakeness from their own close people.

         This story is about betrayal, vengeance, hatred, selfishness, and rancour. I must state unequivocally that Nimra Ahmed has beautifully twisted the story, and the point where you think you have it figured out is when the real twist begins.
