Brief description:
Mushaf is Nimra Ahmed's most extraordinary, intellectual, and creatively written fictional story. She is one of Pakistan's best, inspirational, and thought-provoking writers. The title of the novel "MUSHAF" (Arabic for the Holy Quran) suggests that it is a religious story or that it may contain some verses with beautiful meaning and deep tafseer. Yes, it is linked to all of these aspects with such beauty and intelligence that one might never have thought of the Quran in that way.
This novel takes the reader on a journey through suspense, excitement, love, trust, betrayal, crisis, and the harsh realities of a brutal life. Despite this, the novel leaves an indelible mark on the reader's heart. It all begins with a glimpse of the morning's magnificent beauty. A girl arrives at a bus stop carrying a strange bag with her name "Mehmal Ibraheem" written on it. She was fascinated by the black-skinned girl who was always sitting upright at the bus stop, wearing a scarf, with a strange shine in her eyes and a strange book with a black cover.
Nimra Ahmed perfectly captured the exchange between the black girl and Mehmal. It simply makes you want to stick with the novel, and it actually demonstrated that the book had some kind of "magic," and that if you followed it, you would have the entire world, and if you left it, you would be devastated.
